Progresso Village is nestled between Historic Sistrunk and Flagler Village, and is primarily comprised of single family homes, townhouses and small apartment complexes. As home to 1,400 residents, Progresso Village is a prime location for developers, business owners and investors looking to take part in the redevelopment and growth of a strongly rooted community.
In 2000, the Progresso Village Civic Association was founded by JJ Hankerson and Tom Mobley to collaboratively work together and improve their beloved neighborhood. Over the years, the Progresso Village Civic Association has worked to ensure that residents have a vehicle to interact with local government officials, actively communicate with local law enforcement, engage in neighborhood beautification, and collaborate with developers.
Progresso Village Civic Association membership is open to all landowners and homeowners within the Progresso Village area. Association meetings are held on the third Monday of every month at 7:00p at Broward Partnership for The Homeless, which is located at 920 NW 7th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311.
